We combine a concise overview of how these tools work with a prompt‑generation methodology, then let participants practise on real scenarios. Curriculum / What You Will Learn 

  • AI Mental Model & Safety Essentials (1h45 min) –

    • How ChatGPT and Copilot work inside the Microsoft ecosystem.

    • What AI can and cannot do; debunking common myths.

    • Minimum safe‑use guidelines: data that must never be pasted into public AI tools and how to anonymise inputs (a summary of Okiru’s broader AI governance service).

  • SPIRAL Prompt Methodology (1h45 min) –

    • Teach participants how to frame a Situation, define a clear Purpose, provide relevant Input, articulate a precise Request, enable Adaptation and Level‑up iterations.

    • Includes mini‑exercises to transform vague prompts into clear instructions.

  • Using ChatGPT & Copilot Effectively (30 min) –

    • Overview of ChatGPT’s interfaces (chat, voice, file uploads) and Copilot across Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

    • Demonstrations of how the same prompt behaves in each tool and when to choose one over the other.

  • Hands‑on Prompting Lab (1 h) –

    • Participants work in small groups to solve role‑specific tasks (e.g. drafting emails, summarising reports, analysing spreadsheets).

    • Instructors circulate to provide feedback and demonstrate iterative improvements.

  • Real‑world Use‑Cases & Workflow Design (1h45 min) –

    • Explore common corporate scenarios (inbox triage, meeting minutes, research summaries, SOP creation, etc.).

    • Learners build a simple 5‑step AI workflow for a task in their role, reinforcing long‑term adoption.

  • Assessment & Wrap‑Up (15 min) –

    • Short assessment: participants build a safe, well‑structured prompt and produce a deliverable.

    • Group discussion of key takeaways and next steps.

No. All AI sessions are on request so we can adapt to your team’s deadlines, knowledge level and sector.

Is this a technical AI course ?

Not at all. Our focus is on practical usage, safe practices and a repeatable prompting methodology. No coding experience is required.

Do you issue certificates of attendance?

Yes. We also provide all supporting evidence required to get 100% recognition on the B-BBEE Scorecard
