Which B-BBEE affidavit or verification do you need?

How long is a BEE Affidavit Valid for?

Like any SANAS approved BBBEE certificate, your BBBEE affidavit is valid for one year from the date it is stamped by a commissioner of oaths.

Who can complete the BEE Affidavit?

Only owners, directors and members of the entity requesting verification can complete the affidavit.

Important Information to note

Providing false or incorrect  information in your sworn affidavit is a criminal offence

EME Affidavits

EME Affidavits 

Annual Revenue based on the latest financial year is under R10 million turnover: 

You qualify as an EME (Exempt Micro Enterprise).

👉 You need a B-BBEE EME affidavit.

QSE Affidavits 

Annual Revenue based on the latest financial year is R10 million – R50 million turnover: 

You qualify as a QSE (Qualifying Small Enterprise).

👉 You need a QSE B-BBEE affidavit (unless you have less that 51% Black Ownership).
